A Very Special Friend

It means so much to have you as,
A very special friend.
Your caring ways and thoughtfulness,
Just seems to have no end.

To know you is to love you for,
Your kind and loving heart.
For all the many lives in which,
You play a special part.

I was blessed the day God crossed our paths,
And in my heart I know,
He sent a special angel,
In whom His love would show.

You truly are a special friend,
And always will be too.
I pray God's blessings upon you,
In everything you do!

Open My Eyes

Open my eyes dear Father above,
I want to know you more.
Teach me the things I need to know,
About the One I adore.

I want to learn more about the One,
Who walks with me each day.
The One who leads and directs me,
When to you I pray.

I want to know better the One,
Who always dries my tears.
Who has comforted and protected me
All through the years.

I have so very much to learn,
And I try hard each day.
To find time to read your Word,
To study what you say.

I know everything I need to know,
Is written in your Word.
Many times my heart is touched and,
It is truly stirred.

Show me the truth you have for me,
How more like you to be.
So others may see your precious love,
That I hope reflects in me.

Are a very special kind ...

They pierce your shields and see within

The corners of your mind.

 
They're always there when you're in need

With their power to discern;

They feel your pain, they offer hope

And genuine concern.

And show our inner fears;

And then before you know it ... T

he keyboard's stained with tears.

 
And if we could see them through that screen,

Then no one could deny ...

That to be a TRUE online friend,

They too must surely cry.
